LAURA FOIS BOSLEY is the Managing Director of UP and has assisted in producing all of UP’s productions. She most recently played Penelope in James Bosley’s Epic Poetry and Smitty in his play Broad Channel, though she may best be remembered for her eyebrows in K Comma Joseph in which she played The Receptionist. She also played Whitman in UP’s All the Best Ingredients. Previously with UP she wrote and directed The Wife of Bath’s Tale at the Medieval Festival in Ft. Tryon Park. She has had leading roles Off-Broadway in Sister’s Dance and A Ritual of Faith at the Lions Theater, both for Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) where she is also a member. Laura has appeared in NYC in productions at EST, MCC Theatre, Arclight Theatre, York Theatre and The Workshop Theatre and regionally at the Dorset Theatre Festival, the Adirondack Theatre Festival and in Idaho at the Alpine Playhouse. Her ten minute play, Tag Lines, was produced as part of UP’s one act evening, 4, as well as in the 2012 BolderLife Festival in Colorado, and as a reading at the Estrogenius Festival in NYC in 2012.
