ShowingUP @ UpstART — March 1, 8, 15
UP Theater has invited uptown artists and alum to present…something. A work-in-progress, a piece of a play, a short story, a chapter, a joke, a dance, a painting, an aria, a rant, a rave, a poem, a pitch, a catch, a trick, an idea, an inkling. As long as it is Half-baked & Brand-spankin’!
Sundays, March 1, 8, 15
93 Cooper St., NYC 10034
(between Isham & 207)
This Sunday’s Line-UP March 1 @ 7pm
Emmanuel “Djboy” Abreu: We’re 98% sure he’ll be there — if we can resolve this technical thing with a projector. But we think we can figure it out by Sunday. Joe Boover: Will do some singing, and “showing” his new story, Walrus Dad. Coo-coo-a-choo. Joey Brennenman: “I’m really good at half-baked! Most of what I have is half-baked… a few short plays… depends on who doesn’t have a good excuse to not come with me.” Wendy Herlich: “No comment.” Stacey Linden: Some socially-conscious performance piece. We think. Suni Reyes: Promises“something weird”. (I know. We were “shocked” too.)
